Many Hands Make Light Work

JumpStart have held many fundraising events over the years and a good representation of the enthusiastic committee of 60 members are always on hand to help out where needed.

Events and activities include the annual Pizza, Pasta & Plonk Evening, Cook Ups, various major raffles, Ezone promotion, Hair Odessy promotion, Bingo afternoons, Junior Discos, Relay for Life participation, Country Music Muster stall, catering for sponsors’ tent for Leeton Jockey Club Picnic Races, Little Bit Country Rodders Club promotion, recipient of rebuilding 1967 Mini Morris Deluxe for auction, the Leeton JumpStart Farm, Sausage Steak & Slab Night and the current project ‘The House That JumpStart Built'.

This latest project for 2011 involves the building of a 4 bedroom home. When complete the project will boast four bedrooms, a large kitchen/living area, a home theatre room, a fully functional outdoor entertainment area, fully irrigated and landscaped yard and will be complete with furnishings and the latest technology.

The aim of "The House That Jumpstart Built' is for us to have a complete house and land package. Once the house is completed it will be followed by a three month open house period. The Grand Finale will be the sale by auction in Spring 2011. Funds raised will then be used to fill the coffers of the Leeton Jumpstart Fund.
